Berlioz 'Te Deum'                                                                               On Saturday 20th May, Leeds Town Hall played host to the massed choirs of the Leeds Philharmonic Society and Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus, who were joined by the Bradford boys' choir to sing the mighty 'Te Deum' by Hector Berlioz: scored for three choirs and large orchestra.  The performance was conducted by famed choral director David Hill, accompanied by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. The Bradford boys' choir is drawn from schools across the Bradford Metropolitan area, and rehearses weekly at St Bede's grammar School. 'Whilst they are used to singing at high profile events, being on a stage with 300 singers and a full symphony orchestra took the boys' experiences to a new level!' says choir director Christopher McElroy.  The Bradford boys' choir are part of the largest Catholic choral foundation in the country, encompassing two boys choirs, three girls and Adult Choral Scholars.
